Kiia Kela

Kiia Kela is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate Legal Counsel at Wärtsilä since June 2023, having also held the position of Legal Coordinator. Previously, Kiia undertook a legal trainee role at Smartius Ltd, where responsibilities included reviewing shareholder agreements and participating in client negotiations. As a Legal Consultant for Sniffie, Kiia conducted legal analyses related to the EU Omnibus Directive and contributed to the development of a compliance application. Kiia has also held positions as a Legal Researcher at ELSA Finland, authoring chapters in published legal works, and as a Legal Intern at Lex Gaudius, gaining experience in drafting legal documents and conducting research. Prior to legal roles, Kiia worked in SEO and native advertising at Gaming Innovation Group.
