Monica Muriel Zurita - Sostenibilidad Textil-

Monica Muriel Zurita is a dedicated professional in sustainable textiles, currently serving as an Associate at WAS (Women Action Sustainability) since November 2022, where the primary focus is to elevate sustainability within businesses and society. With extensive experience as a Lecturer and Speaker at institutions such as Collège de Paris and GBSB since January 2013, Monica emphasizes sustainability, circularity, and sustainable marketing in fashion. Previously, as CEO of NEST SOLUTION from April 2021 to August 2023, Monica championed innovative sustainable textile solutions for the Spanish market. Monica also held the position of Creative Director and Head of Sustainability at Zurita Madrid, promoting smart sustainable consumption. Earlier career roles include Co-CEO at NuoMi Shanghai, an entrepreneurial venture in China, and various leadership and consultancy positions in Asia focused on business success and digital entrepreneurship. Monica holds an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School and a dual degree in Law and Business Management from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
