Mark Goor has a strong background in higher education administration. Mark started their career at George Mason University in 1998 as the Associate Dean of the College of Education and Human Development. In 2008, they moved to the University of La Verne where they served as the Dean of the College of Education and Organizational Leadership until 2013. Mark then transitioned to the role of Special Assistant to the Provost until 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at the WASC Senior College and University Commission, starting in 2017.
Mark Goor has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Special Education Leadership from the University of Virginia. Mark also holds a Master of Education - MEd in Special Education from the University of Denver. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from the University at Albany, SUNY.
