Stephanie Bond Huie

Stephanie Bond Huie has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent role is as Vice President at the WASC Senior College and University Commission. Prior to that, they held various positions at The University of Texas System, including Vice Chancellor of Institutional Research & Analysis and Assistant Vice Chancellor of the Office of Strategic Initiatives. Huie also worked at Huston-Tillotson University as an Accreditation Liaison and Director of Institutional Research & Assessment. Earlier in their career, they were a Program Specialist at SEDL and a Service Fellow Sociologist at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Additionally, they served as a Survey Project Director at the Texas Homeless Network and as a Planner in the Grant Management & Contracts Division at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

Stephanie Bond Huie has a strong educational background in sociology and anthropology. Stephanie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995. Stephanie then pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in Sociology in 1997. Building upon their expertise, Stephanie completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology and Demography from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Stephanie has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skill set. Stephanie has obtained a Higher Education Management Certificate from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Furthermore, they have completed a Leadership Series program offered by The University of Texas at Austin - The LBJ School of Public Affairs. Stephanie has also gained a Planning Certificate from the Society for College and University Planning.
