Michael Schantz, CPA, MBA obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. In April 1986, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy. Following that, they earned an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, attending from 1988 to 1990. In January 1988, they also acquired the Certified Internal Auditor certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
