Jayson Margalus

Jayson Margalus serves as the Johnson Professor of Entrepreneurship and Leadership and Director of the Connolly Center for Entrepreneurship at Washington and Lee University since July 2023. Previously, Jayson held multiple roles at DePaul University from 2015 to 2023, including Founding Director of Maker Innovation and Faculty Director of Makerspaces, where responsibilities involved leading innovation labs and co-creating academic programs in Industrial Design and Physical Technology. Prior to DePaul, Jayson worked as a Demo Engineer at MapR Technologies, building data visualizations, and co-owned Lunar Giant Studios, a game company. Jayson founded Polymath Workshop, Inc., providing web software solutions for various clients. Jayson holds a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from North Central College.
