Joseph Kuipers

Joseph Kuipers is an accomplished cellist and music educator with a robust portfolio of entrepreneurial ventures in the music industry. As the Creative Director and Founder of the Texas Cello Grand Prix International Competition™ and Music@Mill Festival™, Joseph Kuipers creates impactful cultural events that showcase the talents of young musicians and engage the community. The creative initiatives also include Texas Cellos™, a cello choir focused on collaborative music-making, and Texas Cello School | an Int'l Institute™, a charitable organization for aspiring musicians. Additionally, Joseph Kuipers maintains a private cello teaching studio and holds guest and adjunct faculty positions at Washington and Lee University and Eastern University, respectively. Educational credentials include a Master of Musical Arts from the Musik-Akademie Basel and a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music.
