Mark Coddington serves as the Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications and an Associate Professor at Washington and Lee University since July 2015, focusing on digital journalism within a liberal arts framework. Mark co-founded and co-authors RQ1, a monthly newsletter that bridges journalism and academic research. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where Mark conducted extensive research on various journalism topics and taught reporting courses.
