Christabel Chan

Christabel Chan is a Resident Physician at The George Washington University Department of Ophthalmology, a position held since July 2022. In addition to medical training, Christabel serves as a Tutor at Ivy Global since June 2018 and has been a Research Assistant at Children's National Health System since May 2016, conducting research on pediatric brain tumors, particularly Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Gliomas. Christabel has held multiple leadership roles in the Washington Area Model United Nations Conference (WAMUNC), including Chief of Staff and Director of Conference Relations, managing logistics and communications for a significant annual event. Educationally, Christabel earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2022 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from George Washington University in 2018.
