Darrick Meneken is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and content management. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at Washington Athletic Club since August 2011, Darrick has held multiple roles including Content Director and Managing Editor. Prior experience includes work as an Associate Editor at Scotsman Guide Media, where responsibilities encompassed writing and editing articles for national magazines and overseeing online content. Darrick also served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon, teaching journalism and communication courses. Earlier career roles include Outdoors Editor and Columnist at Peninsula Daily News. Darrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, a Master's degree in Journalism (Literary Nonfiction) from the University of Oregon, and a Certificate in Digital Marketing Analytics from the University of Washington.
