Amunoo Tembo

Amunoo Tembo currently serves as a Policy Associate for Student Success and Pathway Navigation with the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, focusing on initiatives that enhance equity and student success across the college system. Amunoo has extensive experience in higher education, including roles as an Adjunct Communication Instructor and various academic administrative positions at Tacoma Community College, where responsibilities included promoting institutional assessment and supporting curricular improvements. Amunoo also instructed public speaking courses at the University of Delaware and contributed to event coordination for the National Conference of Black Political Scientists. Amunoo holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Eastern Washington University.
