Marcus Royster

Marcus Royster is an experienced information technology professional currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Officer at the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges since April 2013. Prior to this role, Marcus held senior technology positions at Columbia Bank, including SVP and VP of Information Technology, and served as Network Manager at Financial Pacific Leasing. Marcus began a career in technology as a System Administrator at Harborstone Credit Union and formerly worked as All Source Intelligence Center Chief in the Army Special Forces (Airborne). Academically, Marcus holds a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College, an Executive Leadership Program certification from the Washington Bankers Association, and an Associate of Arts in Technology from Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom. Additionally, Marcus is certified as a CISSP and CISA.
