Cassandra Bent

Cassandra Bent is an experienced GIS Technician III currently employed at Washington County since October 2024. Prior to this role, Cassandra served as a GIS Analyst/Project Scientist at Formation Environmental, LLC from September 2022 to October 2024 and as a GIS Analyst and Program Assistant at CAPA STRATEGIES, LLC from April 2022 to September 2022. Cassandra began a career in research as a Research Analyst III at Portland State University from April 2021 to September 2021. Earlier experiences include roles at Domaine Chandon, University of California, Davis, Soil & Plant Laboratory Inc, and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, with a focus on viticulture, plant sciences, and various laboratory and research techniques. Cassandra holds a Master of Science in Horticulture and Agronomy with an emphasis in Viticulture from the University of California, Davis, a Geographic Information Systems certificate from Portland Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
