Megan Jenny is an experienced professional in community engagement and organizational development, currently serving as the Staff Engagement & Learning Director at Washington Farmland Trust since July 2015. In this role, Megan focuses on promoting staff well-being and fostering a healthy organizational culture while supporting the organization's Community Engagement and Farm to Farmer program teams. Previous positions include Community Partnerships Director and Community Engagement Manager at Washington Farmland Trust, where efforts were directed towards land-matching programs and volunteer engagement strategies. Prior to this, Megan held roles at the Sierra Club as Conservation Program Manager and at Chesapeake Climate Action Network, where responsibilities included leading field organizing efforts and managing strategic campaigns. Additional experience spans various organizing and management positions in other environmental and energy efficiency organizations. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dickinson College and participated in a study abroad program at the University of East Anglia.
