Washington Gastroenterology
Christina Dent, HT (ASCP), serves as an Adjunct Histology Instructor at Clover Park Technical College since March 2024, co-instructing and supervising students in the histology program to prepare them for state board certification and professional roles in patient care. Previously, Christina worked as a Histology Technician at Digestive Disease & Endoscopy Center, LLC, managing logistics during a merger and operating the GI clinic’s histology laboratory independently. Christina has also gained experience at Incyte Diagnostics and Gastroenterology Associates of Olympia, where responsibilities included embedding, cutting, and staining tissue samples with accuracy and proficiency. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Washington, an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Medical Histotechnology from Clover Park Technical College, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Pre-Nursing Studies from Tacoma Community College.

Washington Gastroenterology is the largest gastroenterology practice in Washington State, with locations from Edmonds to Olympia, over 40 Board-Certified Gastroenterologists and 20 Non-Physician Providers. Washington Gastroenterology effectively treats patients in 12 clinic locations, as well as performing outpatient endoscopic procedures , including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, in our Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers.
