Kacie Peterson is an experienced education and program manager with a diverse background in the arts and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Education Director at Washington Improv Theater since December 2019, Kacie oversees a successful classes program recognized as “Best Art Class” in 2023 by Washington City Paper and manages a team of over 30 teaching artists. Previously, as Program Manager at BalletNova Center for Dance, Kacie contributed to fundraising efforts that raised over $12,000 and enhanced social media engagement significantly. Kacie's earlier roles include Membership Coordinator at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, Development Intern at Dance Place, Dance Teacher at Mid Maryland Performing Arts Center, Marketing Assistant at The Gazette, and Editor in Chief at The Rocket. Kacie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
