Chris Franklin has a wealth of experience in education and athletics, having held various roles such as Assistant Principal, Career and Technical Education Director, Athletic Director, and Head Athletic Trainer. Chris has a strong background in sports medicine and has been involved in leadership roles within the education system. Chris has also been actively involved in committees and associations related to athletic training and education. Chris holds degrees in Principal Certification, CTE Director Certification, a Masters in Education, and a Bachelors in Sports Medicine, Physical Education, and K-12 Education. In their current role, Chris continues to demonstrate their passion for education and athletics.

Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA)
The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) service organization and rule-making body formed in 1905 to create equitable playing conditions among high school teams in Washington. The WIAA exists to assist member schools in operating student programs that foster achievement, respect, equity, enthusiasm and excellence in a safe and organized environment. Currently, the WIAA consists of over 400 member high schools and 400 middle/junior high schools, both public and private. WIAA student participants gain valuable life skills in time management, communication, sportsmanship and teamwork through sports and activities. The WIAA plans, supervises and administers 120 state championships involving 19 different interscholastic sports and activities. State championships are held in a variety of locations throughout the state of Washington.
