Jack Schrand

Jack Schrand currently serves as the Senior Department Safety Risk Coordinator at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), a position held since January 2013, where responsibilities include leading safety risk management processes and executing safety assurance activities. Prior to this role, Jack held various positions within WMATA, including Safety Specialist, Manager of Corrective Action Plan Compliance, Assistant Superintendent, Area Manager, and Compliance Supervisor. In addition to a robust career in transit safety, Jack has extensive experience in real estate as a Realtor in Northern Virginia since 1997, having worked with RE/MAX Gateway, Linton Hall, REALTORS, and Prudential Carruthers REALTORS. Educational background includes service in the United States Navy from 1990 to 1996.
