Jeffrey G. Duarte, MS, BBA, has more than two decades of experience in transportation and training, primarily with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) since September 1999, where currently serves as Assistant Director of Bus Transportation Training, leading a 69-member training staff. Previous roles at WMATA include Supervisor for Bus Maintenance and Technical Skills Training, and Career Development Training Specialist. Duarte is also a Certified John Maxwell Coach, Teacher, and Speaker since August 2016, and has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland University College. Early professional experience includes roles with Electronic Data Systems and Digital Equipment Corporation, alongside community support as a Case Manager with Prince George's County. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the District of Columbia.
