Ben Smith

Ben Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of video and broadcast engineering, with a focus on sports production. Ben most recently served as the Executive Director of Game Production & Engineering at the Washington Nationals, where they oversaw the production and technological aspects of game broadcasts. Prior to this role, they held various positions within the Nationals organization, including Senior Director and Director of Video & Broadcast Engineering. In these roles, they managed video production technology and procedures, made budgetary decisions, installed new equipment, and coordinated in-game entertainment. Before joining the Nationals, Ben worked as a Producer and Associate Producer at the Atlanta Braves. Ben also gained experience as a Video Production Coordinator at Global Spectrum, where they managed all aspects of video production for the Constant Convocation Center at Old Dominion University.

Ben Smith attended Miami University from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
