Mike Ploger has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2013, they worked as a Sports Anchor for WVU News and also served as a Reporter for ESPNU Campus Connection, where they collaborated with ESPNU to create packages and projects for on-air use. In the same year, they were a Contributor for Bleacher Report. In 2014-2015, they were an In-Game Host for the Washington Nationals, and in 2015, they briefly worked as a Sports Contributor for BristowBeat.com. In 2016-2017, they worked as a Sports Reporter for NBC 24. Starting in 2017, they became an In-Game Host for the Washington Nationals until 2018. From 2018, they joined Visme as a Video Content Producer, responsible for writing, producing, and hosting educational videos on design techniques and various editing skills. In 2022, they started an In-Arena Host role for the Washington Capitals. Recently, in 2020, they became a Real Estate Agent for Compass.

Mike Ploger attended West Virginia University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Broadcast Journalism.
