Shreya Wankhade currently serves as the Manhattan Chapter Vice President for Everytown for Gun Safety and holds multiple roles across various organizations, including Voter Engagement Intern and Field Intern at HeadCount Org, Editor at The Minetta Review, Writer & Researcher at Sounds of Saving, Treasurer and Editor at NYU American Public Policy Review, Staff Writer at the Undergraduate Law Review at New York University, and Arts Desk Writer and Copy Editor at Washington Square News. Previously, Shreya worked as an Agent of the Attorney at the Office of the Public Defender Maryland and as a Policy Intern at General Intelligences, where research was conducted on education-focused policy proposals. Shreya is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy with a minor in Psychology and South Asian Studies at New York University, where attendance began in January 2022, after completing studies at Howard Community College and River Hill High School.

It is published Monday through Thursday during New York University’s academic year, except during university holidays, vacations, and exam periods.The newspaper isdistributed to more than 100 locations in Manhattan and reaches about 60,000 students, faculty, staff members, and residents of its community.
