Lance W Gurel is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in the field of accounting and finance. Since October 2006, Gurel has been operating Gurel CPA, providing professional accounting services. In parallel, Gurel has been a political candidate for Washington State's 4th Legislative District under the Washington State Democratic Party since 2020. Prior to this, Gurel worked as an accountant at Hansberry CPA & Consulting Inc from January 2005 to October 2006, and held various roles including Controller at Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho (2002-2004), Financial Analyst at Florida State University (2001-2002), Director of Development at Arkansas Tech University (1998-2001), and Senior Financial Officer at Arkansas Tech University Foundation (1997-1998). Gurel holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
