Shasti Conrad

Shasti Conrad is an accomplished political consultant and leader with extensive experience in various roles within the Democratic Party and nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Chair of the Washington State Democratic Party since January 2023, Shasti has also operated as Principal Consultant at Shasti Conrad Consulting since June 2016, specializing in diversity and inclusion, global engagement, and public policy. As a co-founder of both Mission Accomplice and Opportunity PAC, Shasti has focused on addressing racial and gender inequities in political support for candidates of color, particularly Black womxn. Notably, Shasti served as the first woman of color chair for the King County Democrats from December 2018 to December 2022 and held significant positions such as Managing Director at Blue Knot Strategies and US Campaign Manager for the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation. Shasti's educational background includes a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor's degree from Seattle University.
