Elizabeth Weybright

Elizabeth Weybright is an Associate Professor and Adolescent Extension Specialist at Washington State University, where responsibilities include serving as Co-Director of the Northwest Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Collaborative, which aims to address opioid use disorder in rural communities across the region. Weybright has also held the position of Interim Director for the Extension Youth and Families Program Unit, overseeing a team of approximately 150 faculty and staff and managing substantial annual funding for health and nutrition programs. Additionally, Elizabeth holds affiliate roles at both the Firearm Injury & Policy Research Program and the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. Academic credentials include a PhD in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Management from Penn State University, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University Bloomington.
