Sarah Nicotero Axness

Sarah Nicotero Axness currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Washington State University Spokane in the College of Nursing. With extensive experience in nursing education and clinical practice support at Legacy Health since January 2002, Sarah has held various roles including Nursing Education and Practice Specialist, Assistant Nurse Manager in multiple units, and Registered Nurse with a focus on education coordination and charge nurse responsibilities. Sarah's background includes serving as a Community Health Educator for the Peace Corps from September 1999 to October 2001. Academically, Sarah holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Gonzaga University, a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Sacred Heart University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University.
