Matthew Starkston

Matthew Starkston currently serves as the Development Manager at the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation, beginning in June 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Senior Program Associate at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing from January 2018 to June 2022. Additional experience includes working as a Field Consultant at 270 Strategies in 2017, a Temporary Project Assistant for the International Economic Development Council, and a Field Organizer for the Florida Democratic Party, among other positions. Matthew began building a professional foundation in advocacy and outreach as a Citizen Outreach Director for the Fund for the Public Interest and previously interned with organizations such as Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain and Amnesty International USA. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from American University, obtained in 2013.
