Debra Peterson

Debra Peterson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in internal audit and commercial lending. Currently serving as Internal Audit Director at Washington Trust Bank since January 2014, Debra has also held roles including Audit Manager and Lead Business Audit Manager at the same institution. Prior to this, Debra worked at Sterling Savings Bank/Umpqua as a Senior Internal Auditor II/Credit Reviewer II from September 2009 to December 2013. Debra's earlier positions include Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager at The Gladstone Companies and Wells Fargo Foothill, as well as Financial Controller at Westburg Media Capital. Debra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Eastern Washington University, obtained between 1996 and 1999.
