Melanie Monek

Melanie Monek, SHRM-SCP has over 17 years of experience in human resources. Melanie started as a Personnel Coordinator at Lithia Motors in 2004, where they traveled extensively to ensure proper training of staff and implemented new systems. From 2007 to 2011, Melanie worked at LarsonAllen as an HR Generalist, managing recruiting programs and assisting with 401(k) administration. Currently, they serve as the VP, Human Resources Manager at Washington Trust Bank.

Melanie Monek, SHRM-SCP, attended Eastern Washington University. Melanie obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certification in 2013 and the SHRM - SCP certification in 2015. Additionally, they hold various other certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and LinkedIn Certified Professional-Recruiter.
