Ellen Paster

Ellen Paster serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at The Washington Trust Company since September 2012, acting as a Human Resources Business Partner for Wealth Management and Retail Lending while overseeing Corporate Training and Development. Prior to this role, Ellen held the position of VP, Human Resources Business Partner at Citizens, where strategic HR initiatives were implemented for Retail Directors. From February 2003 to February 2011, Ellen operated as a self-employed consultant through Ellen Peters LLC, delivering HR and business development expertise with WBE certification. Ellen's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at GTECH Corporation as the Director of International Staffing and Development, where responsibilities included managing HRIS system implementation and developing various HR initiatives. Ellen holds a Master of International Business Studies from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Furman University.
