Joseph Confessore

Joe Confessore is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in wealth management and commercial banking. Currently serving as SVP & Team Leader of the Private Clients Group at The Washington Trust Company since March 2003, Joe leads a team dedicated to assisting a diverse clientele, including families and entrepreneurs, in managing their financial goals. Previous roles include Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking and Vice President as a Commercial Banker, focusing on building relationships with middle market clients and managing substantial lending portfolios. Joe's career also encompasses experience as Vice President of Commercial Lending at Fleet Precious Metals and as a Financial Analyst at Fleet Financial Group. Joe holds a BS in Finance from the University of Rhode Island, an MBA in Finance from Providence College, and completed the Commercial Banker's Training Program at Fleet Financial Group.
