Claire Byrne

Claire Byrne currently serves as the Director of Schools and Programs for Special Events and the Senior Associate Director of Alumni Engagement and Stewardship at Washington University in St. Louis, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this, Claire worked at Hawthorn Leadership School Foundation as the Director of Development from July 2019 to September 2022. Claire's experience at Washington University in St. Louis also includes roles as Assistant Director of Development and Development Coordinator in the McKelvey School of Engineering and as Event Coordinator for the Danforth University Center & Event Management from January 2012 to July 2019. Claire earned a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Hospitality Management from Ferris State University.
