Paula McBurnett

Paula McBurnett is a seasoned advancement professional with extensive experience in fundraising and donor relations. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of Advancement at Washington University in St. Louis since January 2014, Paula acts as a major gift officer for the McKelvey School of Engineering, working closely with the Office of Planned Giving and the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Prior to this role, Paula held the position of Senior Development Officer at Missouri University of Science & Technology, where a portfolio of 150-200 constituents was managed across eight Western states and Missouri. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Major Gifts and Director of Development at Drury University, and as the Executive Director of the Springfield Public Schools Foundation, where the focus was on raising and managing funds for students. Educational qualifications include an MA in Communication and a B.S. in Communication and English from Drury University.
