Scarlett Patton is a current undergraduate student at Washington University in St. Louis, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Since January 2023, Scarlett has served as a Teaching Assistant for multiple computer science courses and holds the position of Engineering Council Vice President of Operations. Additionally, Scarlett owns and operates Scarlett & Co, a small business founded in 2015, which has expanded sales internationally. Previous experience includes a Software Engineer Internship at Leidos in summer 2024, serving as an Instructor Assistant with Kode With Klossy, and participating in various technology-focused programs, including HackMIT and BUILT BY GIRLS. Scarlett is recognized for commitment to mentoring and education, having tutored and led discussions on technology ethics and career pathways.
