Kate Mallahan is an experienced professional with a background in employment consulting and social services. Currently serving as Lead Employment Consultant at Orion Industries since November 2019, Kate previously worked as an Employment Consultant at Washington Vocational Services. A history of managing a case load of developmentally disabled clients at Full Life Care from June 2007 to June 2011 highlights strong case management skills. As the Founder and Director of Amani Girls Home from June 2003 to September 2008, Kate established a vital support system for over 75 street girls in Mwanza, Tanzania, providing housing, education, and medical care. Educationally, Kate holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Ministry from Life Bible College, earned from 1986 to 1991.

Washington Vocational Services (WVS) is a non-profit staffing agency serving individuals with disabilities in their search for employment since 1976. We proudly serve King, Skagit, Snohomish, Island, and Whatcom counties. Our mission is to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients in the attainment of their goals for employment and community involvement. We accomplish this with a person-centered approach by: • Supporting clients in all relevant job search and retention activities • Enhancing skills and abilities suited to the individual’s goals • Establishing strong connections with community stakeholders We contract with various State agencies such as the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Division for Services for the Blind (DSB), and offer a variety of transition programs aimed at preparing high school students for employment post-graduation. We also stand apart from other agencies by offering specialized Deaf services for our clients from our Deaf Services Team.
