Ashira King-Wilson

Ashira King-Wilson, M.Ed, currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Washingtonville Central School District since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ashira held several positions within the NYC Department of Education, including Dean of Students and Special Education Teacher, from September 2008 to September 2021. Ashira's experience also includes serving as Program Coordinator at AIG, Recruiter at the New York State Society of CPAs, Session Assistant and Research Assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Customer Service Representative at Verizon. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from Mercy University, SBL Certification in Educational Administration and Supervision from The College of Saint Rose, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from New York University. Ashira completed secondary education at Richard R. Green High School of Teaching, earning a high school diploma.
