Abbe Yacoben

Abbe Yacoben, CPFO, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Washoe County since October 2022. Prior to this role, Yacoben was the Deputy Finance Director and City Treasurer for the City of Las Vegas from March 2017 to October 2022. In addition, Yacoben held the position of Finance and Budget Director at the City of Avondale, Arizona, from January 2015 to March 2017, and served as Finance Director for the Town of Freeport from March 2009 to January 2015. Yacoben holds a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Finance from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the same institution.
