Amanda Escalera, MPH, PCM, CAPM, currently serves as the Food FARMacy Coordinator/Nutrition Specialist at Hurley Medical Center, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, developing food prescription packages, and coordinating food deliveries. As a Nutrition Educator with the Washtenaw Intermediate School District, Amanda executes SNAP-Ed health curriculums and evaluates nutrition materials for cultural relevancy. Previous experience includes a Health and Wellness Intern at Milk Means More, where Amanda developed marketing materials and evaluated dairy promotion programs, and founding a community food pantry in response to local food insecurity. Education includes a Master of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Michigan and a Dietetic Internship at the same institution.
