Quan Zhang

Quan Zhang is a highly experienced venture capital professional and entrepreneur currently serving as Managing Partner at Pin Capital since 2020, supporting ambitious startups in realizing their potential. In addition to this role, Quan co-founded Quantum Protocol in 2024, focused on empowering creators through AI and Crypto. As the Founder and CEO of Quantum Music since 2018, Quan established a marketplace connecting Asian influencers with global brands. Quan also plays significant investment and advisory roles at Wasoko and Joyview Education, driving transformative initiatives in Africa's retail sector and promoting student leadership development, respectively. Quan's previous experience includes roles as a Board Observer for various companies and serving as Financial Sustainability Chair for the Chicago Global Shapers at the World Economic Forum. Quan holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago and a BA in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
