Derek Vigoa currently serves as Associate Vice President of Brands at Wasserman, a position held since July 2022, following a tenure as Senior Director of Brands and Properties. Previously, Derek was the Director of Advancement at Southern Smoke Foundation from November 2021 to July 2022. Derek's experience also includes various roles at the Houston Astros, including Director of Team Operations and Senior Manager of Team Operations, from April 2016 to January 2022. Prior to that, Derek worked at Wasserman in multicultural marketing consulting roles from June 2012 to March 2016. Additionally, Derek co-founded Go to Bat for Cuba, an initiative focused on providing baseball equipment to underprivileged children in Cuba. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Commerce with a minor in Consumer Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School.
