Chris McCollum

Chris McCollum is an experienced fleet management professional with a robust background in vehicle maintenance and operations. Currently serving as a Divisional Team Leader and Vehicle Fleet Manager at Waste Connections since April 2019, Chris manages fleet operations across Missouri and Illinois, advising on repairs and vendor expenditures for divisional shops. Previously, Chris held the position of Fleet Maintenance Manager at Republic Services, overseeing a fleet of over 150 alternative fuel and diesel trucks and managing a $7 million budget. Earlier roles include Service Technician Shop Lead at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, where Chris trained and led a team of technicians, as well as positions at NW Cascades and Interstate Distributor focusing on fleet maintenance and management. Chris began a career in automotive and diesel mechanics in the United States Air Force, providing extensive training and supervision to new mechanics while maintaining a diverse range of military vehicles. Chris's education includes studies at the Community College of the Air Force and Pierce College.
