Kieron Culkin

Kieron Culkin is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting roles. Currently serving as District Controller and previously Assistant Controller at Waste Connections since July 2021, Kieron has a strong background in financial management spanning several companies. At IKO Industries from July 2018 to July 2021, Kieron held the position of Senior Financial Accountant. Kieron's tenure at The Hut Group from May 2013 to July 2018 included multiple roles such as Senior Financial Analyst for US Operations and Divisional Financial Controller for the Platform Division, where responsibilities included managing accounts, producing financial forecasts, and overseeing the team responsible for cash reconciliations. Earlier career experiences include a finance analyst position during a summer placement at The Hut Group, work shadowing at Deloitte, and serving as a Marine Cargo Claims Adjuster at Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Plc. Kieron Culkin earned a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from The Manchester Metropolitan University in 2013.
