Matthew Labarge

Vice President - Federal Business Development at Waste Control Specialists

Matthew LaBarge has extensive experience in waste management and project management. From 1990 to 2010, they worked at EnergySolutions where they managed radioactive and hazardous waste management projects for Department of Energy facilities. Matthew also facilitated waste disposal at various commercial facilities. At Duratek, they served as a Waste Engineer, managing a large project and overseeing a national laboratory's waste management program. Since 2017, they have been working at Waste Control Specialists LLC as the Vice President of Federal Business Development and previously served as a Technical Services Project Manager from 2010 to 2016.

Matthew LaBarge earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Matthew then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Illinois Springfield from 1987 to 1989. Matthew LaBarge also holds a certification as a Registered Environmental Manager from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
