Toby Terlet

Toby Terlet has strong leadership skills, education and international waste, energy, and water management experience. As Director - Business Development at Babcock & Wilcox, Toby travels across Australia developing projects in the renewable sector such as waste to energy (chute to stack), battery storage, carbon capture and chemical looping technology, to name a few. Prior to this, Toby was Project Director for Australia’s first WtE facility located at Kwinana and he has spent time in the UK where he was the Veolia’s Birmingham (UK) General Manager with overall responsibility for eight (8) sites, 11 direct reports and 245 employees. Over the past 20 years, Toby has held significant roles on independent environmental industry boards and worked closely with external organisations including EPA SA, around Australia and overseas. He is passionate about developing strategies and identifying new opportunities that leave our natural environment in a better state for generations to come.
