Brian Hertz

Brian Hertz, P.E., currently serves as the Manager of Corporate Development and Innovation at WM, where responsibilities include overseeing the design, manufacturing, and rollout of large-scale technology projects, managing internal IP filings, and facilitating stakeholder communications. Previous roles at WM encompassed responsibilities as a Senior Analyst and Analyst, focusing on customer relationship support, emerging technologies, and sustainability certifications. Earlier experience includes serving as a Sustainability Consultant and Specialist, promoting sustainable business practices and events. Prior to WM, Brian held the position of Summer Sustainability Coordinator at URJ Greene Family Camp and completed an internship with the US Green Building Council Central Texas - Balcones Chapter. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bridging Disciplines Certificate in Environment from The University of Texas at Austin.
