Tara J. Hemmer

Tara J. Hemmer is the SVP Field Operations at Waste Management. Tara has been with the company since 2007, and in their current role, they manage special projects.

Prior to their current role, Tara was the Market Area Engineer for Waste Management from 1999 to 2006. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's operations in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Before joining Waste Management, Tara was an Associate Engineer at TAMS Consultants from 1996 to 1998. In this role, they worked on a variety of environmental projects.

Tara began their career as a Project Engineer at ABB Environmental Services in 1994. In this role, they worked on a variety of environmental projects.

Tara J. Hemmer attended Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

They work with Rafael Carrasco - SVP, Operations, Steven R. Batchelor - SVP, Field Operations. Tara J. Hemmer reports to John J. Morris, Jr., EVP & COO.
