Melissa Puchalla has held a variety of roles in the supply chain and sustainability field. In 2023, they began as Vice President of Sustainability Solutions at Wastebits, where they are responsible for evolving and supporting industry-leading software solutions with companies that have ESG & Sustainability initiatives. In 2022, they became the Director of Product Data and Engagement Expert, Supply Chain Risk and Senior Manager Supplier Operations at the same company.

Prior to that, they were the Director of Supply Chain Compliance at Fastenal from 2005 to 2022. During their time there, they led and developed a global team of 30, achieved success by avoiding risk in the supply chain during the pandemic, and launched a product data PIM system for 18M Skus from 30k+ Suppliers. Melissa was also the SBLO & Supply Chain Diversity Manager and National Procurement Specialist at Fastenal.

In 2020, Melissa became a Board Member at the Winona Family YMCA. As a Board Member, they are a co-chair on the Inclusion & Diversity Committee and a member on the Marketing Committee, helping to strengthen members' experience.
