Shameran Ramzi

Shameran Ramzi has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources and administration. Shameran is currently the Human Resources & Administration Director at Al Wataniya Group since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources & Administration Manager at Wataniya Bitumen Refinery and Saman Cement from January 2019 to present. Shameran also served as the Human Resources & Administration Manager at Saman Cement from July 2017 to present.

Before joining Al Wataniya Group and its subsidiaries, Shameran Ramzi held various leadership roles in different companies. Shameran worked as the HR & Admin Lead at Oil Search from August 2014 to March 2016. Prior to this, they served as the HR Com. & Ben Supervisor at Lafarge Iraq from July 2012 to August 2014. In their role at Lafarge Iraq, they were responsible for managing the compensation and benefits of expatriate employees, coordinating with home business units and regional offices, and updating payroll and benefits data through HRIS systems.

Shameran Ramzi's earlier experience includes serving as the HR Coordinator at OMV from March 2010 to December 2011 and as the HR & Admin Manager at Huawei Technologies from December 2003 to September 2009.

Throughout their career, Shameran Ramzi has demonstrated expertise in human resources and administration management, with a focus on compensation and benefits, HR coordination, and leadership roles.

Shameran Ramzi completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Salahaddin University-Erbil in 1990. In 2020-2021, Shameran pursued a Special Executive Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the Metropolitan School of Business & Management (UK). Shameran has additional certifications in various areas, such as Critical Thinking, Performance Management, and Human Resources, obtained from institutions like LinkedIn, Metropolitan School of Business & Management, and University of Minnesota.
