Vanessa Villanueva-Shaw

Vanessa Villanueva-Shaw has a diverse work experience in the field of quality control and analysis. Vanessa is currently serving as the Quality Control Lead at Watchmaker Genomics since August 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Quality Control Analyst II at the same company from July 2021 to August 2022 and as a Quality Control Analyst I from April 2021 to July 2021.

Before joining Watchmaker Genomics, Vanessa worked as a Manufacturing Associate II at Invitae from November 2020 to April 2021. Prior to that, they served as an IVD Quality Control Associate at ArcherDX, Inc. from August 2019 to November 2020.

Vanessa's career also includes the role of an Analyst at TestAmerica from October 2018 to August 2019.

Vanessa Villanueva-Shaw attended Pikes Peak Community College from 2012 to 2014, studying Chemical Engineering. Vanessa then went on to Colorado School of Mines from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering.
