Charles Teeters

Charles Teeters is an experienced safety professional with a background spanning over two decades in environmental health and safety (EHS) roles. As the Regional Safety Manager at Watco since July 2012, Charles oversees EHS operations at multiple terminal and port services sites across Canada and the Northern United States, providing essential training and conducting audits. Previous experience includes a role as a Safety Volunteer at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, where safety projects were managed, and as a Conductor for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, focusing on safe train operations. Additional expertise was gained as a Fire and Safety Specialist at General Fire and Safety and SimplexGrinnell FireMaster, where compliance with safety codes was ensured. Charles served in the US Navy as a Damage Controlman and Training Coordinator, further establishing a foundation in safety and emergency response. Charles holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
